Cà Phê Sữa Đá (Iced Milk Coffee)

The phin drip finished over sweetened condensed milk and ice — the most common way Vietnamese coffee is actually drunk.

Steps

1. 1.Spoon 1–2 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk into the bottom of a glass.
2. 2.Set a phin on top of the glass and brew directly into it, following the phin drip method.
3. 3.Once the phin has finished dripping, remove it and stir the coffee and condensed milk together until fully combined.
4. 4.Fill a separate serving glass with ice, then pour the stirred coffee over the ice.
5. 5.Stir again once more before drinking, since the coffee continues to settle as the ice melts.
